Seth Thomas, Thomaston, Conn, c.1904, "EMPIRE No. 10", Crystal Regulator, 8-day gong strike mantel clock.
CONDITION:
very good condition overall. The cast top and bottom have some oxidation. The movement appears to have been cleaned and is running briskly. The 2-vial pendulum is intact, dial perfect with good signature, and all the beveled glass is excellent. For reference, see Tran Ly's 3rd edition Seth Thomas book page 240, fig 730; Ly 2004 price guide = $700, but like most things, the price is a bit lower now. Ht 15.25"
